Objectives
|
- To implement the auto scheduler to a fully
functioning scheduling and dispatch team
- To organise training on the auto scheduler
and measure it's effectiveness
- To coach and support the team with the new
system
- To build and develop strong working
partnerships with the Operational field teams to generate buy
in for the auto scheduler
- To communicate and implement a new planning
value chain and planning user guide in to the OnStream and UKD
businesses
- To train, coach and support all business
users of the planning process to follow it
- To write the 'as is and to be process' of
the Scheduling and Dispatch model, with a view of a 1.7m
saving.
- To manage to integration of a new process
to recruit and contract work directly, in to the existing
business.
- To order the work and monitor, taking
appropriate action, to ensure it matches the out code and
resources, to maximise installations.

Achievements

The auto scheduler was implemented across
all 4 areas within 4 months and is still fully operational

The planning value chain and user guide was
written and delivered in to the business within 2 months.
This has set the foundation for driving workload to resource
accountability
-
The 'as is and to be process' has been
wrote and implementation has began. The cost savings are
already being realised and we now have a direct labour
workforce.

I have strong working relationships with
the OnStream team and with our clients. I'm very
confident of there support at minimal notice.
